It's ALL things #Starwars right now. Here at Snooky's we will be busy making #ATATWALKER cakes, #Stormtroppers on cakes, and everything else that's in the new movie. I CAN"T WAIT TO SEE IT!!! I just need to get tickets now and avoid EVERYONE who's seeing it on open day, that means that I have to stay cocooned in my house.

The 46th birthday can go one of two ways, either you embraced forty five and it's smooth sailing or you didn't and this birthday will be rough! Hopeful the later is the one is true. This birthday boy's wife ordered a cake that was made to replicate the jacket he wears frequently, it is blue with gold bottoms, really quite dapper (I used the term because he is British). Made with lemon cake and frosted with our raspberry vanilla buttercream and then covered in fondant, the cake was then delivered to the Union Club in NYC for a big birthday bash!

Does anyone remember the jingle for My Little Pony?

That jingle is from the 1980's, that's right, #Mylittlepony has been around for over twenty years. Did you know that Candace pony got married in 2012? The cake above was made last week in 2015 for Chloe who loves My Little Pony, Rainbow Dash to be exact. The cake was made with 6 different colored layers as the rainbow and frosted in vanilla buttercream and then covered in fondant. The figurine was plastic because the parent wanted her daughter to have it as a keepsake. but we can sculpt one for you upon request.

iPhone 6 Cake

The above cake was made for a casting agent as a #thankyou from an actress who was booked for the new #iPhone6 as the voice in the commercial, congratulations #Natalie! Rose gold case with a few visible apps were made to replicate the one that's in the new commercial, to make the #rosegold color really stand out the cake was colored a blush pink as well as the buttcream which was our raspberry vanilla lace flavor.

An Engagement Cake

For an engagement party we made this cake for the bride and groom to be. Hearts on the top tier are the background that contrasts the silhouette couple that is placed in front of it. We added a beautiful swirl motif on the bottom tier that adds a finishing elegant touch to the cake. Cake was a chocolate cake with a Bourbon filling layered with fresh strawberries, it was delicious!

Hairless Cat Cake

A #hairlesscat I really don't have much to say except I've never seen an animal that usually has hair without, what kind of breed are they? A client wanted one and we made it for her. Chocolate cake filled and frosted with vanilla buttercream and then covered in fondant.

At At Walker!!!

We made a simplified #AtAtWalker for a customer's son's birthday, she initially wanted a 3D cake like the one we made a little over a year ago but we need two weeks to pull that one off. Made with yellow cake and frosted in vanilla buttercream which was then covered in fondant of which we painted in a silver color. I suppose with the next #Starwars film release we will be doing a lot of Star Wars cakes, but please, if ordering one of the robots, space ships, and other militia vehicles please order it a month in advance we need the time.
